11/10/2020 Microsoft news

In April of this year, Microsoft announced a new widget store for the Xbox Game Bar, but until now it was only available to insiders. Now, the company has announced that widgets in the Xbox Game Bar are now available to all Windows 10 users to enhance your gaming experience.

What’s new?

In a blog post, the Xbox team has shared some of the widgets available for download. In particular, the Ghost companion for Destiny 2 was introduced. By linking it to your Bungie.net account, you can track progress during gameplay, view rewards, quests and achievements. The widget also allows you to take a look at the Crucible map before loading and perform several other tasks.

There is a separate talk about the XSplit Game Bar HUD tool, which will be useful for streamers using XSplit Broadcaster on Windows 10. This widget is currently at the stage of public testing, and the full release should take place in late July.

Along with this, some new features have been announced for the Xbox Game Bar. For example, the Click-through function allows you to control mouse behavior when clicking on pinned widgets. Along with this, the transparency setting for pinned widgets has appeared.
