Windows 8.1 is still supported by Microsoft, and support for Windows 7 ended in January 2020, but organizations that paid for Extended Security Updates (ESUs) will continue to receive the update for several more years.

Monthly updates are traditionally delivered in two packages: a monthly rollup and a separate security update.
